RapidSSL WildCard certificate
Rapid WildCard belongs to the group of so called "starred" SSL certificates which you can use to secure an unlimited amount of n-level domains (within one level - third level for instance). The procedure of settin-up the certificate is similar as with the basic RapidSSL certificate and if you pay online you can use it almost instantly after the verification email is confirmed. The certificate holds only information about the domain and no other information is included. It's main purpose is to secure the data on the network and is suitable for the most of the web projects and applications.

Order notice
The SSL certificate is issued based on email verification sent to the selected email (admin@domain.tld, administrator@domain.tld, hostmaster@domain.tld, webmaster@domain.tld or postmaster@domain.tld). It is in the customer's interest that the specified e-mail is fully functional.
CA has a list of names which are verified manually. In that case the order is held in pending until the verification process is finished. Orders for names that includes "bank", "facebook", "ibm" etc. won't be processed at all.
In case of ordering a RapidSSL certificate we recommend request certificate for full domain name with www (www.domain.tld). Iin that case the name without www will be added to the certificate and SSL communication will work on both domains with no problems. When requesting a domain without www, the name with www will not be added!
